- Conducted Online International Conference on “Gender Mainstreaming: Global Perspectives” on 2nd & 3rd February 2021 in collaboration with Bombay Teachers training College, Mumbai, Faculty of Humanities, University of Johannesburg, Asian-African Association for Women, Gender and Sexuality and Association for the Schools of Social Work in Africa.
- Conducted “Research Methodology Classes” for students of the Department from 27th January to 15th February 2021. (11 sessions)
- Organised 3 Lectures as part of the International Women’s Day Celebrations 2021 on 5th, 8th & 12th March 2021. Best Women Development Cell Award 2021 was awarded to Vimala College, Thrissur (1st Prize) and MES College, Ponnani (2nd Prize) to WDC of affiliated colleges of University of Calicut.
- International Scholarships in General: An Interactive Session with Reshma Koroth, Fulbright Fellow, PhD Scholar Sussex organized in collaboration with Department of Women’s Studies, University of Calicut in collaboration with Women’s Studies Alumni Association on 8th June 2021.
- As part of the Pride month celebration Students of Department of Women launched Rainbow Club “Khwahish” to create a safe and Inclusive learning environment for LGBTQIA+ community, and organized a Talk on “Safe and Inclusive Campus” on 23rd June 2021 by Prijith P.K, President Queerythm and Harry Harris, Queer Feminist.
- We Think Digital- Digital Shakti 3.0” (Digital Literacy and Online Safety programme) in collaboration with National Commission for Women, India, Dean of Students Welfare, University of Calicut & Department of Women’s Studies, University of Calicut from 11th to 13th August 2021.
